Sospeso Transparente..first try

10:03:00 PM Craftcolourncreativity 0 Comments

Hello my dear readers and enthusiasts ,

Happy weekend sleepy heads! I know it feels so nice when its friday morning and exactly opposite is the feeling when its Sunday evening. I think you all will agree with me on this whether you do a job or not, Saturdays are the best!

So here I am with my experiment with Sospeso Transparente. This is also called volume decoupage.I wanted to do it since very long. But never really got the in the shop near by my house. So I had retail therapy one morning and bought quite a few supplies from craftadda

I got this sheet for Rs.150. However, while buying it I did not think a lot. But I would like to give a piece of advice, buy a sheet which has similar coloured flowers in all sizes.

Overall it was a fun experience. I have not used all the flowers that came along. I can definitely use it later for some other project. May be a photo frame or a wine bottle decoration. I don't know..!

This is to show you all what I bought and what you should not buy :).
Buy the one with same coloured flowers and in all sizes.

I made the backgroud with acrylic colours - some yellow and gold .

I am not sure when and what I am going to make with remaining flowers. But I will keep you all posted.

Ear Rings Organizer

12:41:00 AM Craftcolourncreativity 0 Comments

Hey There,

After a long long time, back with some organization tips using the waste material at your home :)

Earlier I had shared with you all about make-up organizer

What I have are just ideas and how I implemented them. You can take my ideas and implement in your own style. I am here to share some ideas which come in my mind and makes life easy for me.

See if they can make your life easy..:)

I am crazy about ear rings..yes, you will come to know that when you read that I need an organizer just for ear rings..! Earlier I  used to put my ear rings in closed plastic boxes. But later on I realised that when I am in hurry I do not take pains to open the lid and put the ear rings back:). Hence I think open boxes would work for me.

So I have these boxes mainly of mobiles and dongle which are very good and sturdy. I thought lets put them to use.

Simply cover up these boxes with the colour papers. You may also use cloths or pattern paper. Whatever and whichever you want to.

Don't forget to put a base paper. here I have used green coloured felt paper. Just remember that whatever colour you choose, choose a brighter one.

Now I have categorised it as below:

First one is for set of silver ear rings and pendant
Second one is for long danglers, generally I wear them when I go out to party or mall.
Third one is for regular use.
Fourth one has gold plated ear rings along with my Mangalsutra

Key chain Holder

8:14:00 AM Craftcolourncreativity 0 Comments

Good Morning dear bloggers, readers and my friends,

How are you all? If you ask me the same question, even I am not sure what would be my answer.

I wanted to show you the key chain holder that I decorated using Fevicryl Shilpkar clay. I bought this from Pune in last September. And today was its lucky day to get decorated!

The base is made of mdf i.e the thinnest wood which is used for craft generally. The design is not mine :(. I just picked up the one that was available.

I loved working with Shilpkar. Much more than m-seal. Basically it sticks less to your hands and its white in colour.

So, this is the mdf base.
Then stick the clay with fevicol on the base and give its shape and design

Let it dry for at least a day and then paint it with acrylic colours.

And then apply a coat of varnish over it to protect it.

So, how is it? did you like it? Try and make one for your home :)

Good Morning dear readers and bloggers and craft lovers..

Today I am here with a DIY..Yes you are right! Actually I do not do much of DIY projects because it needs lot of preparation and dedication and planning. And me on the other hand is someone who is not much of a planning person. I am spontaneous. And that is why its difficult for me. Also having to do office plus house work plus this is also bit more stressful.

But craft is something that relieves my stress. I like to do it. I like to experiment. I love it.

So my today's DIY is about making a beautiful shiny heart. This you can use it in your any card project or explosion box or an album, anywhere. It will add the 'X' factor to your creation. I am sure you all will like it.

Nowadays I have fallen in love with making videos and showing you all.Earlier I thought its lot of hard work. But there is something called smart work. I'm experimenting with creating different video clips. And I hoping you all will like it.

The below clip give step by step procedure to create your own shiny heart for this valentine :)

The Endless..infinite or the never ending card

7:39:00 AM Pooja 0 Comments

Hello my dear friends...

I was very fascinated by these small video clips which used to pop-up on facebook showing these never ending cards. I didnt know the name. But google is the answer to all our questions these days.

So I came across this video in youtube by Robin Messenheimer. It is really awesome the way she has explained.Very slowly and methodically.

Below is the link for it :

Never ending Card by Robin

I decide to make my own and capture step by step procedure on how to make it. Below is the small video clip that is showing my card and how it just opens in any and all directions..!

And the front of the card :

Now for the procedure, take two 6'' by 6'' card stock. I chose below design:

Cut the card stock into 3'' by 6'' piece. So you would have 4 pieces altogether

Score along the short ends of all the 4 pieces at 1.5 inches

Then you will have 4 pieces as below. Keep them in below pattern:

Piece number 3 and 4 would form front face of the card

Apply the glue to card number 1 and 2 in the four corners as below. Then put card number 3 and 4 vertical on card number 1 and 2 as shown:

And taadaa....!! its done..!

Try one your self..its fun and simple to make....

Hello Friends...

Here are few sketches. I used to draw pencil sketches earlier. This is one of the old one.

This photo I got from google. And like the way sun rays are highlighting the cheek bones.

This is one of my first good sketches :)

These days I do not get enough time continuously to sit and concentrate and enjoy sketching.
Planning to work on sketch of my daughter. Lets see how I go about it and when I actually do it.

Celebration - of love and relations

8:15:00 AM Craftcolourncreativity 1 Comments

Dear All.

Wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year..!

This is my first post in the new year in spite of making resolution that I would be regular and frequent ;).Thats me! perfectly imperfect!! Few of the reason were like I was not well then I didnt feel like and bla bla...

So this is the album made from envelopes..well not exactly envelopes. And this is made for a very special person in my life. And I don't want that person to know so can not tell you all the exact purpose.

This is made of the my wedding invitation card. It is from a single card! And I dont know how many are lying around at my Mom's place. The thing is you have so many emotions attached to it that you can not just throw it. And the quality of the cards is really good. May be better than any card stock!

This is how my creation looks like...

 once you open it....

 You can open it further...

It is 14 cm * 16 cm Album

These are my wedding invitation cards..six years old..

A small clip showing how the album is built up..
